Design

A two-bedroom apartment in Downtown Dubai, redesigned as a high-end rental with views straight onto the Burj Khalifa. The original layout was small and slightly angled, so we opened it up and extended a single kitchen counter into an integrated bench and dining area, letting the whole space flow into one continuous seating and gathering zone. Wood cladding carries from the kitchen into the corridor, with curved transitions that dissolve the usual hard edges between rooms. The master bedroom was opened up to include a semi-open walk-in extension, the second bedroom reworked to comfortably fit two beds, and the bathroom redesigned with switchable glass, open to the view, private whenever needed.
